The Astor, FL Foundation for Historical Preservation is dedicated to protecting and showcasing the unique history of Astor, FL and Volusia, FL. Located on the banks of the picturesque St. John's River, the foundation provides access to some of Florida's most precious waterways, including Lake George, the state's second-largest lake, and the stunning Silver Glen Springs. Visitors can explore historic sites like the Joseph Underhill House and the Astor Bridge, as well as immerse themselves in the region's natural beauty and cultural heritage through activities like drifting on the water, visiting the Dillard House, and experiencing the essence of 'River Life' and the 'Big Scrub'.
